Explanation

We factor the trinomial by finding two numbers whose sum is -5 (x coefficient) and product is 6 (constant term). Once factored, we apply the rule: if a product is zero, at least one factor is zero. This is the standard method for quadratic equations in the Moroccan curriculum.
